ABOUT REMMI
Remmington Olle grew up in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Remmi grew up surrounded by the art of dancing and has had the opportunity for dance to have such a positive impact on her life. She has always aspired to be a performer, but throughout her time at the Boston Conservatory she has discovered that teaching has brought her more joy in her life than performing on a stage. After graduating from the Boston Conservatory, Remmi will be moving back to Colorado to share her love of dance with the next generation of artists.
ARTIST STATEMENT
As a instructor, I want my students to feel safe to explore their own artistic voice through the discipline of dance. In doing this, I want my student to build confidence in their movement in a judgement free zone.
Teaching has such a big impact on children aspiring to pursue a career in the arts. Many teachers have tried to diminish that dream for multiple dancers and most of them are successful in this act. I want to create an environment that allows my students to have the ability to grow and strengthen their sense of self.
